Zesty Salmon Burgers

I am just about to conclude my attempt at the Whole 30. I'd say my accuracy level is about 80% and it's been enough - I feel great. Do what you can and I bet you wont regret it.

I've been seeing recipes using canned salmon. Has anyone ever tried making salmon cakes? I'd love to try this version from Paleo Gluten-Free

Salmon Burgers
1 6oz can Wild Alaskan Salmon
1 egg
1 tbsp arrowroot flour
1/4 cup white onion minced
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp minced parsley
1 large garlic clove
1 tbsp lemon zest (about 1 small lemon)
1/2 tsp sea salt
fresh cracked pepper
1 tbsp olive oil

Lemon Asparagus
1 bunch organic asparagus
1 tbsp lemon zest
2 tbsp minced white onion
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic minced
salt & pepper to taste
1 whole lemon cut into 1/4" rounds

Magic Green Sauce
1/2 cup paleo mayonnaise
3 tbsp fresh minced parsley
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp lemon zest
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp sea salt
fresh cracked pepper to taste

Salmon Burgers
1. Combine all the ingredients for the salmon burger in a medium size bowl. Mash everything together with a large fork.
2. Heat a large fry pan over medium heat on the stove. Drizzle the pan with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
3. Separate the salmon burger mix into four burgers on the fry pan and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

    Lemon Asparagus
    1. On the stove, heat a large fry pan on medium heat. Add everything for the asparagus and cook for about 14 minutes (stirring occasionally).

    Magic Green Sauce
    1. Combine everything for the sauce in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
    2. Plate everything and serve!
