Come Sail Away: Dream Destinations for Every Kind of Adventurer
If we had a choice, we’d spend all our time out on the water. But, alas, we’ve got lives to lead on dry land. That doesn’t mean you won’t catch us daydreaming about where the waves will take us next! In this post, we’re dreaming up our perfect day in three fabulous locales where we’d just love to drop anchor.
Bliss Out in St. Barth
St. Barth
If you’re looking for your chance to rub elbows with the rich and famous, a trip to St. Barths should do the trick—depending on the time of year. In the winter, you’ll find superstars and tycoons sunning on their mega-yachts. But come Spring, the island will be teeming with elite sailors. No matter the time of year, St. Barths offers a heavenly balance of luxury and relaxation in tropical paradise. Check into Eden Rock St. Barths if you’re on celebrity watch, or laze around in complete privacy at one of Hotel Le Toiny’s luxurious villas. By day, St. Barths’ gorgeous beaches are the perfect place to wind down. But be ready to pick things back up again in time to enjoy the island’s late-night scene. Dine at swank Bonito St. Barth, then dance the night away at Le Ti St-Barth.
Packing list: If you’re going to vacation in luxury, you’ve got to dress the part! We’ve got you covered. For guys, pop on our Fid Cuff in brass and, ladies, any of our polished Brummel Link Bracelets fit the bill.
Peddle your heart out on car-free Mackinac Island
Mackinac Island
If you’d rather relax lakeside, set your sights on Michigan’s Mackinac Island. A small island in the Great Lake Huron, Mackinac has been a beloved vacation destination for the past century, if not longer. And with no cars or chain hotels, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time as soon as you step foot on the island. Spend the day biking around the island or kayaking its coast, before tucking into bed at the island’s utterly charming Grand Hotel. Be sure to grab one of their famous pecan balls before you turn in. If you time your trip right, you could be treated to one of the island’s historic races—the Port Huron to Mackinac Race or the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac—both have been held every year since the 1920s!
Packing list: Our Marine Cord Charger and Chill Chain Bracelet pair perfectly with the laid back adventurer vibes welcomed by this destination.
Experience Italy’s rugged beauty in Sicily
Sicily, Italy
Fancy a trip to Europe? We sure would. With all that coastline, it would be tough to decide just where to dock in Italy. Ask us tomorrow, and we may have a different answer for you, but today our sights are set on Sicily. Surrounded by sparkling blue water, Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, and it sits right at the toe of Italy’s boot. We’d spend the day taking in the stunning natural beauty of Scala dei Turchi (Turkish Steps). Or, we’d explore the town of Erice, set high on a mountaintop and accessible by cable car. No visit to Italy is complete without an indulgent meal al fresco and a nice glass of local wine.
Packing list: Sicily is culturally rich and naturally beautiful. Choose an accessory as authentic and varied as the island itself. Our Volley Single Wrap Rope Bracelet and Journey Double Wrap Rope Bracelet can take you from day to night in style.
We’ve inspired you to book a salty sabbatical, haven’t we? There’s plenty more inspiration where that came from! Get on our mailing list, and you’ll be the first to hear product news and read our latest blogs!
